Brayden Williams

$1.00

Brayden started fundraising for charity at eight years old. In his first year,
he started small with a kindness project donating coats, blankets and gift
cards to two local homeless charities – Homeless Angels and Angel’s Hands.
Last year, at nine, he chose juvenile arthritis research and held lemonade
stands to donate more than $300 to the cause.

In 2020, at age 10, he wanted to keep impacting the youth population, and
he chose Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. Shortly after deciding to choose
this cause, his brother was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. This pushed him
to find a way to raise a lot of money for this cause. With COVID 19 in
mind, he started a pop bottle, can and glass bottle drive, capitalizing on
the many returnables people had at home until they could return them
regularly. To date, he has surpassed his $500 goal and is now past the $1,000
mark. He now hopes to reach the $2,000 mark and continue his fundraising
efforts, picking a new worthy cause each year.
